This past Sunday, I had the joy of donating two Heidi Knight Originals to the St. Martin de Porres Octoberfest Live Auction in Dripping Springs. Together, they raised $11,500 for the parish, and I’m still smiling about it.
Why I give portraits
The artwork we treasure most is of the people we love. When I donate a portrait, I’m not handing over something off a shelf. I’m offering a family the chance to have their own people become a work of art, made only for them and meant to hang in their home for generations. Watching people bid on that chance, knowing every dollar went to a community that matters, was one of my favorite days this year.

Planning a fundraiser?
I create just six Heidi Knight Originals each year, so I’m selective about where they go. When I do donate one, I reserve it for live auctions at signature events, where an original portrait can make the greatest impact for your cause.
