For nearly two decades, Heidi Knight has created commissioned portrait artwork for families from her home base of Wimberley and throughout Texas.
Each piece begins with a custom portrait session and is transformed through a process that combines photography, digital painting, archival printing, and hand embellishment.
The finished artwork is created only for the people it represents. Rich texture, painterly detail, and carefully crafted presentation give each piece a presence that cannot be replicated by a traditional photograph alone.

The Artist behind the Artwork
Long before I created artwork for clients, I created it for my own home.
As a mother, I understand how quickly childhood changes and how easily photographs disappear into phones, computers, and hard drives. I wanted something more lasting. Something I could enjoy every day.
That desire for my own family eventually became the foundation of my work.
Today, I create original portrait artwork for families who want more than a photograph. They want original artwork that celebrates the people they love most and becomes part of their legacy.
